Sundays moving to 3:30pm at SMN

In an effort to preserve precious daylight, the Sunday match is moving to 3:30pm. It will still be on the stadium field at Shawnee Mission North.

There will still be 2 Wednesday games before the time changes on November 6th.

Due to the Chiefs afternoon game, we will kick off at 9am on the lower field at Shawnee Mission North this Sunday, January 30. This will not affect any other match this weekend or in the future.

Sunday kickoff moving to 3:30pm beginning this week

 Due to losing daylight, we are moving the Sunday match kickoff back to 3:30pm. This does not affect any other weekly match.

 In an effort to beat the heat of the day, we will move the start time of the Sunday game to 5:30pm. The match will remain at Shawnee Mission North High School.

Due to the Big Game next Sunday, we will be kicking off early - 1:30pm at Shawnee Mission North High School.

Due to better field conditions at Shawnee Mission West, we will move the 3:30pm game there today only.

With the Super Bowl kicking off around 5:30, it has been requested that we begin our game earlier this Sunday.

Sunday matches

The Sunday games will now be on the upper fields. The gates to the main entrance have been locked the last few weeks. Also Tom can pull the nets closer to the field on the upper level.

Please keep in mind the games start at 3:30p. Starting closer to 4p doesn’t leave much time for playing given the early sunset. So we absolutely want everyone there so we can begin closer to 3:30p.

With the earlier sunset and the end of Daylight Savings Time rapidly approaching, we are moving the Sunday kickoff to 3:30pm. Hope to see you on the field soon!

Sunday kick off now 5:30

In an effort to stave off the worst of the daily heat, we are moving the Sunday game back to 5:30 for the remainder of the summer. The site will be updated when the time changes back in the fall.

Start Times Changing on Sundays & Wednesdays

There are only 4 more Wednesday games left in 2015! In an effort to save daylight, we will move the start time back to 5pm. Please arrive as close to 5 as possible and the game will begin when we have enough players.

On Sundays, we will return to a 3:30 start time.

All games will remain at Maple Hills Park (85th & Switzer) through the end of the high school football season.

All Matches Moving to Maple Hills Park

During the graduation season, SMN will be in high demand. Until June 6, all matches will be played at Maple Hills Park.

One-Time Field Change This Sunday

FCKC concludes the regular season this Sunday at North. Therefore we will move to Maple Hills for the 5:30 match. This is a one-time change.

In an effort to beat the heat, we will move the start time of the Sunday match to 5:30 for the summer months.

For the next 4 weeks, the Sunday afternoon match will be moved to Maple Hills Park, 85th Street and Switzer. It will be at 3:30 this week and there will be a discussion as to possibly moving the game's start time.
