ONE TIME FIELD CHANGE - Sat. Oct. 12 SMW

This coming Saturday, Shawnee Mission North will be hosting a district band competition. We will move our game to the soccer field at Shawnee Mission West along Antioch, just north of 85th St. If this field is not available, I will send an email to the group and we will move to the Middle School at 75th & Quivera.

While no formal agreement is in place, there is a general understanding that our group does not fit within the guidelines of one that requires a permit. That being said, we have to be very vigilant in our use of the facility. If an organized group approaches the field, we must vacate immediately. We cannot argue, and we cannot request to use part of the field they have rented. This is very, very important! We have enjoyed a terrific relationship with North. They have been very good to us over the years.
